Seahawks vs. Falcons lineup notes: Chancellor, Clark out

Here are the inactives for Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons:

SEATTLE

Inactive: RB C.J. Prosise, SS Kam Chancellor, RB Thomas Rawls, DE Frank Clark, G Rees Odhiambo, T George Fant, DT Quinton Jefferson.

Notes: Seattle suffers a defensive blow as both Chancellor (groin) and Clark (hamstring), who were considered game-time decisions, will not play today. That takes two defensive pieces out of the mix against a Falcons offense that came into the week ranked first in the NFL. Kelcie McCray is expected to start in Chancellor’s place. Prosise (wrist) was listed as questionable, but the Seahawks acknowledged he was still a week away. Rawls (fibula) and Jefferson (thumb) had already been ruled out. Defensive tackle Garrison Smith (oblique) dresses after being listed as questionable. Tight end Nick Vannett (ankle) is active for the first time in his NFL career.

ATLANTA

Inactive: CB Jalen Collins, LB A.J. Hawk, LB Paul Worrilow, G Mike Person, G Wes Schweitzer, TE Joshua Perkins, DT Courtney Upshaw.

Notes: The Falcons come into the game healthy. The only player who was on the injury report was Worrilow (groin), a back-up who had already been ruled out. All of Atlanta’s players listed at the top of the depth chart are available.
