Are you ready for some (preseason) football? I know many football fans would just as soon wait until the games count to start paying attention to NFL football, but for you diehards out there, I’ll be posting updates once the games gets going in an hour and a half.
For those wondering why they should care about the season’s first preseason game, here’s a story from today’s Herald detailing some of the things to watch tonight.
Also, Jim Moore, formerly a columnist for the Seattle PI (you may know him better as the Husky-trashing, always-writing-about-his-dog Go-2-guy) has his own blog now, and today he posted a bit on the Seahawks, including his opinion that Leroy Hill has already played his final game as a Seahawk. If you like humorous writing, golf, dogs, and fawning over all things Wazzu, Jim should have you covered down the road.
While there are no official inactives like a regular season game, we already have been told that the following players won’t suit up tonight: LB Lofa Tatupu, LB Leroy Hill, DE Lawrence Jackson, LB Joe Pawelek, and the players on the PUP list, CB Josh Pinkard and G Chester Pitts.
