Here are the inactives for Sunday’s game between the Seahawks and Washington at CenturyLink Field:
Inactive: CB Jeremy Lane, RB C.J. Prosise, FS Earl Thomas, G Jordan Roos, T Rees Odhiambo, G Luke Joeckel, DT Shedon Richardson.
Notes: The Seahawks have to negotiate playing without arguably their most important defensive player as Thomas is out with a hamstring injury. Bradley McDougald will start in Thomas’ place. Starters Richardson (oblique) and Joeckel (knee) as well as reserves Lane (thigh) and Prosise (ankle) miss out through injury. However, strong safety Kam Chancellor (ankle) and linebacker Bobby Wagner (hamstring) are active after being listed as questionable. This will also be the Seahawks debut for three-time Pro Bowler Duane Brown, acquired via trade from Houston earlier this week, who starts at left tackle. Rees Odhiambo goes from starting at left tackle to being left inactive.
Inactive: C Spencer Long, T Trent Williams, G Shawn Lauvao, WR Jamison Crowder, TE Niles Paul, TE Jordan Reed, DE Matt Ioannidis.
Notes: Washington is hurting big-time on offense. Long (knee), Williams (knee) and Lauvao (stinger), who are three of the team’s five starters on the offensive line, are all out injured. So are Crowder (hamstring) and Reed (hamstring), the team’s top two receiving threats. Ioannidis (hand), a starter on defense, also misses out, as does Paul (concussion) a reserve. The one positive for Washington is that veteran cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who’s been on the physically-unable-to-perform list, has been activated for the game.
