MIll Creek player Casey Dawes said his favorite message was from his seventh grade teacher at St. Thomas Moore school in Lynnwood, Andrew Chaplin, who left the school at the end of the year.
“I didn’t think I’d see him again and he said he saw our game,” Dawes said. “I thought that was pretty cool.”
Dawes said the players are keeping in touch with their friends back home through e-mail and text messages.
