Shenton stars, streaking AquaSox win 7th consecutive game

Austin Shenton homers and drives in four runs in Everett’s 7-3 win over Vancouver.

EVERETT — Austin Shenton went 3-for-3 with a double, home run, two walks and four runs batted in as the streaking Everett AquaSox beat the Vancouver Canadians 7-3 on Thursday night at Funko Field for their seventh consecutive win.

Carter Bins drove in two runs and Jake Anchia added two hits for the AquaSox offense.

Levi Stoudt started on the mound for Everett and allowed three runs, two earned, on just two hits over five innings. Dayeison Arias entered in relief in the sixth and struck out four over two scoreless frames. Evan Johnson struck out two in an inning before David Ellingson pitched a scoreless ninth with a pair of strikeouts to close out the win.

Rafael Lantigua went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI for Vancouver.
