SHORELINE — A new tennis tournament for high school players is coming this summer.
The Shoreline Slam will make its debut when it takes place July 25-28 at Shorewood High School and Kellogg Middle School. The tournament is hosted by Shorewood and Shorecrest high schools.
“Hosting a tennis tournament for junior players has been a dream of ours for nearly a decade,” Shorecrest coach Robb Mann said in a press release. “I’m beyond excited that this is the year we’re making it happen.”
The tournament is open to all high school players in the Pacific Northwest, including players entering grades 9-12 as well as 2024 graduates. Players can enter in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. There will be Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions in singles and doubles, and Gold and Silver divisions in mixed doubles.
