Silvertips’ 2018-19 home opener set for Sept. 22

The Everett Silvertips will play their first home game of the 2018-19 season on Saturday, Sept. 22 against the Vancouver Giants at 7:05 p.m. at Angels of the Winds Arena.

Before the game, there will be a banner-raising ceremony commemorating the team’s 2017-18 Western Conference and U.S. Division championships.

Everett named Connor Dewar captain and Riley Sutter alternate captain for the 2018-19 season.

Both players, along with Everett native Wyatte Wylie, were selected in the 2018 NHL Draft, the most picks for the Tips since 2010.

Tickets are available on the team’s website, and Everett’s full schedule for the 2018-19 season will be released Tuesday.
