EVERETT – The Everett Silvertips have rewarded head coach Kevin Constantine and assistants John Becanic and Jay Varady with two-year contract extensions.
Constantine had his contract extended through the 2008-09 season. Becanic and Varady had their contracts extended through 2007-08.
Constantine, Becanic and Varady have coached the Silvertips since their inception in 2003. During that time they guided Everett to a 68-55-17-4 regular-season record and two playoff appearances, including the U.S. Division and Western Conference championships in 2003-04 when Constantine was named the Western Hockey League Coach of the Year.
