PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Austin Roest opened the scoring in the first period, but the Everett Silvertips fell 3-1 to the Prince George Cougars on Saturday at CN Centre.
Roest’s goal was his 22nd of the season. Goaltender Tyler Palmer saved 28 of 30 shots for Everett (18-18-1-0, 37 points).
Ruket Geudt scored two goals and Caden Brown had another for Prince George (16-17-3-0, 35 points). Chase Wheatcroft dished out two assists and Ty Young stopped 26 of 27 shots the Cougars.
