MOOSE JAW, Saskatchewan — Jackson Berezowski scored his ninth goal of the season, but that was all the Everett offense could muster as the Silvertips opened their road trip through the Eastern Conference with a 4-1 loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday night.
Jagger Firkus scored twice, the second of which came early in the second period and proved to be the game-winner for the Warriors.
Braden Holt started in goal and stopped 27 of 30 shots for the Silvertips (7-4-0-0), who dropped their third game in the past four contests.
Connor Ungar had a massive game for Moose Jaw (8-4-0-0) with 46 saves in goal.
