The Silvertips announced a roster move Saturday as they have removed forward Bradly Goethals from the roster and added forward Cal Babych from the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express.
“Cal Babych made a terrific impression in the short time originally spent with us and is deserving of this opportunity,” Everett general manager Garry Davidson said in a press release. “We admire his work ethic, attitude, and commitment. Bradly Goethals made significant strides to become a regular in our lineup and made a decision to leave our hockey team for personal reasons. We acknowledge his wishes and priorities, and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Goethals, a native of Ile-Des-Chenes, Manitoba, had three goals and three assists in 23 games. He was acquired from the Wheat Kings in an Oct. 12 trade with Brandon.
Babych turned 20 in January and played in two games for Everett this season. He also has 152 games of WHL experience with Calgary, Prince Albert, Prince George and Vancouver with 35 points and 55 penalty minutes.
