KELOWNA, British Columbia — After Kelowna’s Conner McDonald scored with just seconds remaining to send the game to overtime, Bryce Kindopp buried a goal 49 seconds into the extra period to lift the Everett Silvertips over the Rockets, 4-3, for their eighth win in a row.
Kindopp’s game-winner came on a power play and was assisted by Wyatte Wylie and Cole Fonstad.
Gage Goncalves, Justyn Gurney and Michal Gut also scored and Dustin Wolf stopped 27 of 30 shots for the Silvertips (42-12-3-1).
Roman Basran stopped 31 of 35 shots for the Rockets (27-27-2-3).
