Scouting report

Tonight is the second straight game between Everett (22-19-0-2) and Tri-City (28-10-1-1). The teams met Sunday in Kennewick with the Tips coming from behind to win 4-3 in a shootout. The Tips and Americans have played seven times this season, Everett prevailing in four of those.

Tri-City comes in riding its first three-game losing streak of the season. The Americans lost all three of their games last weekend finishing up a stretch of five games in seven days.

The Americans have plenty of offense at their disposal, led by 20-year-old left wing Colton Yellow Horn (26 goals, 29 assists), 19-year-old left wing Jason Reese (16 goals, 35 assists) and 17-year-old center Kruise Reddick (17 goals, 27 assists). However, both 20-year-old center Shaun Vey (18 goals, 26 assists) and 19-year-old right wing Taylor Procyshen (15 goals, 10 assists) missed Sunday’s game because of concussions. On the plus side, Tri-City expects to have 19-year-old forward Radek Meidl in the lineup tonight for the first time this season.

The Tri-City defense is led by 20-year-old T.J. Fast (seven goals, 19 assists). In goal the Americans rely heavily on 18-year-old Chet Pickard (24-7-1-1, 2.55 goals against average, .911 save percentage).
