Here’s the offensive and defensive snap counts from the Seattle Seahawks’ 12-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday (plays, percentage):
OFFENSE
G Glowinski (82, 100)
T Gilliam (82, 100)
C Britt (82, 100)
G Webb (82, 100)
T Sowell (82, 100)
QB Wilson (82, 100)
WR Baldwin (70, 85)
WR Kearse (70, 85)
TE Willson (64, 78)
WR Lockett (62, 76)
RB Michael (52, 63)
RB Rawls (22, 27)
WR Richardson (17, 21)
TE Graham (17, 21)
TE Williams (10, 12)
WR McEvoy (10, 12)
RB Prosise (9, 11)
FB Tupou (7, 9)
Notable: Tight end Jimmy Graham, playing for the first time since suffering a torn patellar tendon in his knee last November, saw a limited 17 snaps, being targeted just once (an 11-yard reception on the game-winning drive). Although Christine Michael and Thomas Rawls had a similar number of touches (17-15 in favor of Michael), Michael was on the field significantly more often than Rawls. It’s nice to see Archbishop Murphy High School graduate Tani Tupou get on the field in his first NFL game.
DEFENSE
CB Sherman (53, 100)
SS Chancellor (53, 100)
CB Shead (53, 100)
LB Wagner (53, 100)
FS Thomas (53, 100)
LB Wright (50, 94)
DE Bennett (47, 89)
DE Avril (44, 83)
CB Lane (43, 81)
DT Reed (33, 62)
DE Clark (29, 55)
DT Rubin (25, 47)
DT McDaniel (19, 36)
LB Morgan (10, 19)
DT Jefferson (9, 17)
DE Marsh (6, 11)
LB Pierre-Louis (3, 6)
Notable: Although DeShawn Shead won the starting position at right cornerback, both he and Jeremy Lane played a lot as Seattle was mostly in its nickel defense. Being in the nickel meant strong-side linebacker Mike Morgan didn’t get many snaps. It’s interesting to see rookie Jarran Reed get the most snaps among the defensive tackles. Kevin Pierre-Louis’ three snaps came when starting weak-side linebacker K.J. Wright was momentarily shaken up.
