SHORELINE – The Snohomish Panthers finished out a perfect non-conference schedule with a 3-1 win over Shorewood in a match rescheduled from September 12.
Snohomish had little problem with the Thunderbirds, losing only the second set to Shorewood in a 15-8, 6-15, 15-7, 15-6 game.
The Panthers were led by 12-for-12 serving by Shelly White. Erin Stecher had nine blocks.
Shorewood’s Candra McCartney had 13 assists and teeammate Megan Tribble finished with eight kills and seven service aces.
The win, at the Shoreline school, gives the Panthers a 6-0 record entering Wesco North Division play. Shorewood dropped to 2-3.
