The Snohomish golf team got quite a treat on Thursday. In the middle of spring break, the Panthers traveled down to southern Oregon and played Bandon Dunes G.C., Golf Digest’s fifth-ranked public course in America.
It’s not every day a high school team gets to play Bandon Dunes. Well …
“Unless you’re Bandon High School and it’s your home course,” said Snohomish head coach Joe Mutcheson.
Snohomish played against Bandon High School and a school from California, but Marshfield (Coos Bay, Ore.), which was supposed to play as well couldn’t make it.
The Panthers play against Westside Christian (Portland, Ore.) today.
