LYNNWOOD — It was not easy, but the Snohomish County Christian volleyball team picked up a tough non-conference win on Monday in five sets against visiting Cascade Christian.
The Lions won the first two games 15-7 and 17-15, dropped the next two 10-15 and 8-15, then fell behind before rallying to take the deciding game 16-14.
"This was a big win for us," said SCC coach Shannon French. "Our girls played well together and never quit."Megan Lang had a particularly strong game for the Lions, finishing with 19 kills and three service aces.
