Bellevue-Katie Ludwick and Megan Hosmer each scored 13 points as Bellevue used an 18-4 third-quarter run to slide past Snohomish during Thursday’s non-league showdown.
“They’re (Bellevue) probably the most talented team in the state,” Snohomish coach Ken Roberts said. “We played well but they are just so talented. It was a good measuring stick for us.”
After trailing 17-16 after two quarters, Bellevue broke open the game by outscoring Snohomish by 14 points, five of which came from University of Washington prospect Jill Bell.
“That was the turning point,” Roberts said. “We played a great first half. But that third quarter really hurt us.”
Ann Bailey led Snohomish with eight points, with Hali Thompson following with seven.
