The Snohomish United youth soccer club, through its Development Academy program, is trying to make top-level youth soccer more accessible to lower-income families. By making the program free, the club is giving lower-income players an opportunity to be seen by those involved in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, which is the domestic avenue that currently feeds into college and professional soccer.
Here are the upcoming tryout dates for Snohomish United for the 2018-19 season. Tryouts take place at Stocker Fields in Snohomish:
April 25-26: U-9 boys and girls
May 2-3: U-10, U-11 and U-12 boys and girls
May 9-10: U-13, U-14 and U-15 boys and girls
May 16-17: U-16, U-17 and U-18/19 girls
More information about tryouts can be found on the Snohomish Youth Soccer website.
