Sounders Frei earns 2018 MLS Save of the Year (VIDEO)

His save against Colorado in July was the winner in online voting by the fans

Major League Soccer announced Tuesday that Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei has been voted the winner of the 2018 MLS Save of the Year.

Frei’s quick-reflex stop against the Colorado Rapids on July 4 was one of 16 saves nominated for the award. Fans selected the winner in online voting.
