The South Whidbey boys soccer team claimed the 1A Northwest District title and clinched a state berth with a 1-0 win over King’s on Saturday. It was the Falcons’ first district championship in at least 15 years, according to coach Emerson Robbins.
South Whidbey (11-5-2) faces Overlake in Saturday’s bi-district title match.
