State Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist Joe Hymer in Vancouver said that between May 25 and June 2, anglers on the lower Columbia made 14,000 trips and caught 1,035 adult spring Chinook.
Over the weekend, on average, one of every three boats and one of every 27 bank anglers had a fish.
