The Seattle Pacific University women’s basketball team lost to Fort Lewis (Colo.) 68-59 in a quarterfinal game of the NCAA Division II women’s basketball tournament Tuesday morning in St. Joseph, Mo.
Melissa Reich led the Falcons with 17 points and Snohomish High School alum Daesha Henderson added 11 in the losing effort.
Fort Lewis shot 30 free throw attempts compared to Seattle Pacific’s eight.
Fort Lewis advances to the semifinals where it faces the winner of the Franklin Pierce-Arkansas Tech game Wednesday night.
