Arlington’s Garrett Atkinson pitched a complete game, struck out 11 and gave up four hits and no earned runs to lead the Eagles to their first Wesco North win. … Jackson’s Trai Patrick drove in the game-winning run in the sixth inning to lead the Timberwolves over Kamiak. … Archbishop Murphy’s Marcus Burdyshaw pitched a complete game two-hit shutout for the Wildcats and Alex Galgano went 2-for-2 with an RBI triple in the seventh as the Wildcats beat Cedarcrest. … Meadowdale’s Brian Marty finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and Torin Dooley threw a complete game shutout, striking out six, as the Mavs moved into a tie for second place in Wesco 3A. … Shorewood’s Kory Longaker was 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBI for the Thunderbirds in a Wesco 3A win. … Alex Koeplin punched out 12 in a complete game shutout as the Vikings edged Marysville Pilchuck for the second consecutive night. … Cascade’s Danny Townsend had three RBI and Michael Mazza scored three times to lead the Bruins past Wesco South-leading Edmonds-Woodway. … Snohomish’s Jordan Ridley was 4-for-5 with two doubles and Benjamin Dmochowsky was 3-for-5 with two doubles as the Panthers beat Stanwood. … Sultan’s Jay Leverett had four hits, four RBI and two runs scored for Sultan in Game 1 of a doubleheader and then struck out nine in five innings on the mound and drove in three at the plate and missed the cycle by a home run in Game 2 as Sultan and South Whidbey split.

Softball stars

Snohomish’s Jennie Winston pitched a no-hitter, striking out six and Anna Pisac hit two home runs as the Panthers knocked off Edmonds-Woodway in a Wesco crossover game. … Meadowdale’s Cierra Hart hit a three-run home run and Shannon Haukup added a solo shot to back winning pitcher Alyssa Reuble, who struck out 14 in a complete-game shutout, as the Mavericks beat Shorewood. … Arlington’s Ronnie Ladines went 3-for-4 with four RBI and pitched a complete game and Hayden Fields had a double and a three-run home run as Arlington beat Cascade. … Glacier Peak’s Chantel Conrad had two doubles and four RBI and Emma Bollinger had two hits, a triple and a single, for the Grizzlies in a win over Oak Harbor. … Kamiak’s Sidney Drury’s hit a two-run double and Katie Spencer tossed a complete game as the Knights beat Stanwood. … Everett’s Lexie Levin tripled, scored twice and earned the win, pitching five shutout innings in the Seagulls win over Mountlake Terrace. … Monroe’s Alyssa Egan pitched a perfect game and was 2-for-4 from the plate as the Bearcats beat Mariner.

Boys soccer stars

Archbishop Murphy’s Aidan Huggins had two goals and an assist as the undefeated Wildcats beat Granite Falls. … Marysville Pilchuck’s Sean Wagner scored in the 36th minute to tie the game at 1-1 and assisted on two second-half Anthony Johnson goals to lead the Tomahawks past Cascade. … Jackson’s Thomas Clement scored a hat trick and had two assists in the Timberwolves win over Stanwood. … South Whidbey’s Jimmy Price had a goal and an assist and Sam Turpin tallied the go-ahead goal in the 50th minute as the Falcons beat Sultan.
