Marysville Pilchuck’s Brandon Moser was 4-for-6 with three doubles, two runs scored and seven RBI as the Tomahawks beat Snohomish 19-3. … Mariner’s Taylor Garneau went 3-for-3 with a run scored and Jamie Umbinetti tossed a complete game to help the Maruaders record their first Wesco South win of the season. … Lake Stevens’ Logan Merrill continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI in the Vikings’ win over Arlington. Merrill finished the week 12-for-17 with five doubles. … Shorewood pinch hitter Max Jacobs came through with a RBI single with two outs in the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie and help give the Thunderbirds their first Wesco 3A victory. … Granite Falls’ Riley Larsen went 3-for-5 with two RBI and Jeff Benson added two hits and three RBI as the Tigers beat South Whidbey. … Kamiak’s Luke McDonough knocked in the game-winning run with a single in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 4-4 tie as Kamiak handed Edmonds-Woodway its first league loss of the season. … Alex Hatch had two hits and three RBI as the Hawks won their third straight Wesco 3A league game.

BOYS SOCCER STARS

South Whidbey’s Noah Moeller scored two goals and had an assist and Jimmy Price added two goals as the Falcons beat King’s.

SOFTBALL STARS

Sultan sophomore Rachel Kirkpatrick reached base on all six of her plate appearances, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, three walks, three RBI and four runs scored in Sultan’s first-ever win over Archbishop Murphy. … Cedarcrest’s Jerrica Kjorsbik went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Karly Gidlof knocked in three runs as the Red Wolves knocked off Coupeville. … Lakewood’s Kiana Smith and Alexa Chase hit back-to-back home runs in the third and the Cougars beat South Whidbey.
