BASEBALL STARS

Lucas Arnested hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to complete a six-run comeback by the Seagulls and knock Glacier Peak out of first place in the Wesco 3A standings. … Edmonds-Woodway’s Patrick Bernard shut out Kamiak over the final four innings and hit the go-ahead sacrifice fly in the fourth as the Warriors beat Kamiak to open a three-game lead in the Wesco South standings. … Marysville Pilchuck’s Joseph Morgan went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Brandon Moser had two hits, two RBI and scored three times as the Tomahawks beat Snohomish. … Oak Harbor’s David Kusnick Jr. had a pinch-hit game-winning double in the bottom of the seventh to get the Wildcats a win over Shorewood. … Mountlake Terrace’s Josh Fitch and Dominic DeMiero both went 2-for-3 with three RBI as the Hawks beat Marysville Getchell. … Shorecrest’s Hayden McNabb broke a scoreless tie with a solo home run and winning pitcher Ted Hammond added a sacrifice fly in the sixth to help the Scots beat Lynnwood. … Jackson’s Joakim Soderqvist finished 4-for-4 with three RBI to pace the Timberwolves to a win over Mariner.

SOFTBALL STARS

Maddy Kristjanson pitched seven innings, gave up one run and went 2-for-4 with a home run to lead Mountlake Terrace over Lynnwood. … Meadowdale’s Shannon Haukap batted 2-for-3 and scored the game’s only run on a basehit by Ciarra Hart in the bottom of the fifth inning as the Mavs beat Shorecrest. … Oak Harbor’s Emily Hunt pitched a complete game and struck out 12 batters as the Wildcats earned their first Wesco 3A league win of the season. … Marysville Pilchuck’s Monica Clow pitched seven innings, giving up only one run, as the Tomahawks won their first Wesco North win. … Kamiak’s Lindsay Haub was 3-for-5 and Jackson’s Megan Cooley batted 5-for-5 with a double, triple and three RBI as the Knights beat the Timberwolves. … Arlington’s Ronnie Ladines pitched a complete game and held Lake Stevens to just two runs and also hit a double and a grand slam as Arlington beat Lake Stevens. … Stanwood’s Devan Larsen was 5-for-5 — including a grand slam — and finished with seven RBI and five runs scored and Alyssa Egan, the game’s winning pitcher, also went 5-for-5 with five runs scored and an RBI as Monroe beat Stanwood. … Edmonds-Woodway’s Katelynn Lafferty struck out 10 batters while pitching a complete game — and went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI — as the Warriors beat Mariner.

BOYS SOCCER STARS

Edmonds-Woodway’s Alec Sakoi had the game’s lone goal on a penalty kick in the 36th minute and goalkeeper Griffin Small kept the ball out of the net as the Warriors beat MP. … Cascade’s Jorge Heredia tallied two goals to lead the Bruins to their first win of the season. … Marysville Getchell’s Javier Gomez Mora-Rey had two goals and an assist for the Chargers in a Wesco 3A win. … Mariner’s Carlos Rodriguez scored a goal and assisted on another as the Marauders beat Arlington. … Kamiak’s Sammy Cho scored on a shot from the top of the 18 yard box to lift Kamiak over Monroe in overtime. … Jackson’s Caleb Houvener’s had a hat trick as the Timberwolves beat Lake Stevens.

GOLF STARS

Glacier Peak’s Conner Denessen shot an even-par 33 to earn medalist honors and lead the Grizzlies to a victory over Meadowdale and Shorewood. … Oak Harbor’s Annie Leete scored 31 modified Stableford points to earn medalist honors and lead the Wildcats to a win over Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace.
