I’ve got track and field on my mind after covering day one of the Class 4A Northwest District Track and Field Championship Meet yesterday. There were plenty of memorable/noteworthy performances at Everett Memorial Stadium. To read about some of them click here for a story about the boys meet and click here for info on the girls.

The 4A meet concludes tomorrow. If you want to know about the 3A and 2A district meets or any other prep news go here.

But wait – I titled this blog post “State baseball matchups” for a reason. So I’ll move on from my track-induced detour and provide what I promised.
