The Washington Stealth announced on Thursday that they will partner with Seattle’s Children’s Hospital, Everett Bone and joint and the Washington Chapter of US Lacrosse to present a concussion symposium on Feb. 21.
The symposium titled, “Concussions: What you need to know” will take place from 5:45 – 8:30 p.m. at Seattle Children’s Wright Auditorium.
Many qualified physicians will be on-hand to discuss the issue of concussions that has been becoming more and more of a concern as medical studies continue to come out. The symposium will also seek to ask many of the commonly asked questions when it comes to concussions in young athletes.
“For a few families, this evening may prove to be one of the most important nights of their lives,” President of the Stealth David Takata said.
