The Washington Stealth has announced its partnership with several non-profit organizations for fundraising events at various games during the 2012 season.
The Stealth will team up with the Red Cross on Jan. 14, opening night of the 2012 season against the Calgary Roughnecks, in an effort to raise money for the organization.
Two weeks later, on Jan. 28, the Stealth host the Edmonton Rush on “Hometown Heroes Night” The evening will also be a continuation of the Stealth’s partnership with the American Foundation for suicide Prevention, who the Stealth have partnered with in the past.
On March 23 when the Stealth face the Minnesota Swarm, the Stealth team with the Susan G. Komen For the Cure foundation for the third annual “Pink in the Rink” event to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.
The final non-profit event of the 2012 season will take place on April 20. The Stealth will be teaming with Northwest Harvest, also for the third time, for a food drive to help provide for food banks throughout the state. The Stealth face the Toronto Rock that night in a rematch of the last two NLL Championship games.
