EVERETT — The Washington Stealth announced Friday they have signed transition player Kyle Hartzell for the 2012 season. The deal is pending approval by the National Lacrosse League.
Hartzell, who has played all three of his NLL seasons with the Stealth, appeared in 15 games for Washington in 2011, scoring three goals, collecting three assists and grabbing 53 loose balls.
“Kyle is developing quickly into an outstanding NLL player,” Stealth general manager Doug Locker said in a press release. “He has an incredible knack for finding loose balls and adds strength and athleticism to our defense. We are excited to have him back with the Stealth this season.”
Washington opens training camp next month.
