Training camp for the 2011 National Lacrosse League season begins on Friday for the Washington Stealth.
The Stealth, winners of the 2010 Champion’s Cup, open the regular season on the road on Saturday, Jan 8 against the Colorado Mammoth. The Stealth travel home to Comcast Arena the next day for the home opener on Jan. 9 against the Calgary Roughnecks.
Washington will hold three weekends of training camp prior to the season opener, with some sessions open to the public.
Here’s the schedule (all practices are either at Comcast Arena or the Community Ice Arena):
Weekend #1
Friday, Dec. 3 – 8:30 p.m. — 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 4 – 2 p.m. — 4 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 5 – 9 a.m. — 11 a.m. Comcast Arena OPEN TO PUBLIC
Weekend #2
Saturday, Dec. 11 – 10 a.m. — Noon Comcast Arena OPEN TO PUBLIC
Sunday, Dec. 12 – 8:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m. Comcast Arena OPEN TO PUBLIC

Friday, Dec. 17 – 8 p.m. — 10 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 18 – TBD
Sunday, Dec. 19 – 8:30 a.m. — 10:30 a.m.
