The National Lacrosse League on Wednesday named Washington Stealth forward Jeff Zywicki its Offensive Player of the Week.
Zywicki tallied a season-high nine points in the Stealth’s 12-11 victory over Colorado on Saturday. He collected three goals and six assists as Washington ran its season record to a league-best 5-0.
Zywicki is the NLL’s leading scorer, with 35 points. He ranks second in the league in assists (22) and fourth in goals (13).
Zywicki is the second Stealth player to be named offensive player of the week in as many weeks. The league last week honored Washington forward Lewis Ratcliff.
