Stingey Sultan defense shuts out King’s, 35-0

SULTAN – The Sultan Turks used a potent running game and stingy defense to come away with a 35-0 thrashing of the King’s Knights in Cascade Conference action Friday night at Sultan High School.

Ben Lukone had 14 solo tackles and a sack and Richard Knudson added two sacks for the Turks.

“Our defense was tough tonight. They (King’s) drove down the field all game long and we came up with big stops,” Sultan coach Jim MacDicken said.

Sultan’s offense was led by Andy Kincaid, who scored three touchdowns and rushed for a game-high 165 yards on just 13 carries (12.7 yards per carry). Teammate Shawn Wolter added seven receptions for 106 yards.
