Storm preseason schedule set

The Seattle Storm announced their 2013 preseason schedule on Tuesday.

The team’s first exhibition game will be May 12 at Walter Pyramid on the campus of Long Beach State University at 1 p.m. against the Los Angeles Sparks. The Storm will host a second preseason game on May 17 against the Tulsa Shock. Tip off against Tulsa is set for 7 p.m.

In addition to the rosters the Storm and Shock already have in place, Tulsa owns the third pick in the upcoming WNBA draft, while Seattle owns the sixth pick.

The Storm open the regular season Sunday, June 2 at KeyArena against the Phoenix Mercury. The Mercury own the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming WNBA draft and will likely use it to select Baylor standout Brittney Griner.
