This one is going to be short and sweet as I have been having internet problems at KeyArena.
The Storm come out fired up, but for some reason the ball can’t find the bottom of the basket. They shot just 5-for-15 in the first quarter. That was still good enough for a 15-10 lead as the Storm de
fense was locked in, holding the Fever to 3-for-14 shooting. The WNBA’s leading scorer Katie Douglas had just two points in the period.
Rebounding from two lackluster performances in the first two games of the regular season, Lauren Jackson appears to be more involved in the offense. Jackson scored five points in the first quarter.
On a side note, former Seattle Sonic and current member of the Oklahoma City Thunder Nick Collison is in the house tonight.
