Storm vs. Lynx: 4th quarter

There was that heart and pride we were all looking for in the fourth quarter.

Somehow, someway, Seattle made it a game before falling 81-74. Point guard Sue Bird scored 16 points in the fourth quarter and Lauren Jackson came alive, scoring seven of her nine points in the period.

The Storm played defense in the fourth quarter, they executed plays offensively and they made shots. Surely it was disappointing for the team and fans to see the 23-game home winning streak come to an end.

But after seeing how the Storm responded in the fourth quarter — they will be just fine.
