You wouldn’t know that the Tulsa Shock have lost 19 consecutive games. The Storm lead the Shock 18-17 after one quarter.
One thing is for sure, the Shock do not look like the worst team in the WNBA. Tiffany Jackson led the Shock with six points, but they have been balanced scoring and are shooting 7-for-15 (46.7 percent) as a team.
But the Storm are doing just fine as well, very balanced scoring and shot the ball on a 50 percent clip in the first quarter.
The question is going to be, is this the best the Shock can play? If so, I don’t see the 19-game losing streak coming to an end tonight, but if they get better as the game goes on, the Storm could be in a bit of trouble tonight.
