The Minnesota Lynx continued their dominance over the rest of the WNBA on Sunday night with a 70-69 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Lynx point guard Lindsay Whalen hit a fadeaway jumper with 1.5 seconds remaining in the game to seal the victory.
Whalen scored 23 points to lead the Lynx (13-4). Jia Perkins led the Silver Stars (11-6) with 18 points.
The Indiana Fever scored a decisive 98-63 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks.
Jessica Davenport scored 16 points to lead the Fever (14-6). Ebony Hoffman led the Sparks (7-11) with 13 points.
The Connecticut Sun remained just a game and a half back of the Fever with a 99-92 victory over the Atlanta Dream.
Renee Montgomery scored 19 points to lead the Sun (11-6). Angel McCoughtry scored 36 points in defeat for the Dream (8-10).
