In an effort to give the fans an inside look at some of the people who have brought so much celebration to Seattle, The Herald will take a closer look at two Seahawks players each day this week.

Seneca Wallace

Position: QB

Number: 15

College: Iowa State

Age: 25

What will you remember most about the 2005 Seahawks?

“I’ll just remember how everything clicked for us. Everything just went the way we wanted it to go. Everybody wants to be in the Super Bowl, but at the beginning of the season I never thought we’d be in this situation. It’s been like a dream.”

What would you be doing if you weren’t playing football?

“I’d be playing basketball. I was a point guard (in high school) and I always dreamed of playing in the NBA.”

What will you be doing one month from now?

“Hopefully I’ll be at home in Sacramento with my family. Maybe I’ll go down to San Diego and Los Angeles where it’s warm.”

Outside of football, what’s the one thing you want to do in Detroit?

“We’re supposed to be going to a Detroit Pistons game as soon as we get in.”

What’s your favorite memory from Super Bowls past?

“Watching San Francisco when they played Cincinnati. I was a huge San Francisco 49ers fan.”

What’s your favorite way to unwind away from football?

“I like going to the gym while my girl is in there working out and watching guys play basketball. It gets your mind off football by watching another sport. I don’t play video games or any of that stuff. I might go to the movies, but that’s about it.”

What teammate do you like to tease, and why?

“We tease everybody. That’s the thing about this team. Everybody gets along so well. We can tease anybody and they don’t take it personally and get upset about it.”

Rocky Bernard

Position: DT

Number: 99

College: Texas A&M

Age: 26

What will you remember most about the 2005 Seahawks?

“I’ll just remember the way this team came together. We met all the expectations for this team.”

What will you be doing one month from now?

“I’ll probably be back in Texas, visiting family and friends.”

Outside of football, what’s the one thing you want to do in Detroit?

“I’ll probably go check out the Motown Hall of Fame.”

Growing up, what was your favorite football team?

“I grew up a huge (Houston) Oilers fan.”

What’s your favorite way to unwind away from football?

“I usually go to Las Vegas.”

What teammate do you like to tease, and why?

“Craig Terrill. Just look at him (Terrill was sitting nearby). There’s a whole lot to make fun of.”
