The Jackson High School football team found out in person why Skyline is ranked No. 1 in Class 4A. Skyline blasted the Timberwolves 56-3 on Friday in a non-league game at Everett Memorial Stadium, and the Spartans keep their spot atop the Tacoma News Tribune rankings this week.
Local teams featured in this week’s TNT rankings are:
*Class 2A No. 1 Archbishop Murphy (7-0; beat Coupeville 62-0)
*Class 1A No. 3 King’ (7-0; beat Granite Falls 42-21)
*Class 3A No. 9 Glacier Peak (6-1; beat Mount Vernon 38-21)
