Texas Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series WinStar World Casino 400 on Friday, June 5, 2009

ONE EIGHTY RETURNS: One Eighty will continue their sponsorship of Malsam’s No. 81 Toyota Tundra this Friday at Texas Motor Speedway. The familiar colors of One Eighty Racing have been on Malsam’s Randy Moss Motorsports truck every race this season. The Raybestos Rookie of the Year leader has recorded two top-10 and six top-15 finishes in the first seven races and is currently 12th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship point standings. For more information about One Eighty, please visit www.oneeightytwist.com.

MALSAM AT TEXAS: Friday’s race at Texas Motor Speedway will be Malsam’s first race at the Fort Worth track. Malsam’s last race at a 1.5-mile oval (Lowe’s Motor Speedway) resulted in his highest finish of the season – an eighth-place effort.

CHASSIS CHOICE: This weekend, crew chief Doug Wolcott and the No. 81 team will once again unload Randy Moss Motorsports chassis No. 126. This Toyota Tundra has been raced five times so far in the 2009 season, at Auto Club Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Lowe’s Motor Speedway, and most recently at Dover International Speedway. The highest finish in this chassis came at Lowe’s, where Malsam posted an eighth-place finish.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR UPDATE: After his 12th-place finish at Dover International Speedway, Malsam held his lead in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year point standings. The Seattle, Washington native is currently tied with Johnny Sauter with a total of 71 points. Malsam has won the Rookie of the Race award twice in the first seven races of the season, as he captured the honor at Atlanta Motor Speedway and most recently at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

AUTOGRAPH SESSION: Malsam and his Randy Moss Motorsports teammate Mike Skinner will join other NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers to sign autographs on Friday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. CT in the TM Interactive area.

CATCH THE ACTION: The WinStar World Casino 400 from Texas Motor Speedway will take the green flag this Friday, June 5th at 6 p.m. Race coverage will be televised live on SPEED, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and heard live on select affiliates of MRN Radio and Sirius-XM NASCAR Radio Channel 128, beginning at 6 p.m.

MALSAM (On racing at Texas Motor Speedway): “Well, I’ve never raced at Texas before so I have some learning to do when I get there. From what I’ve heard, Texas is no different than Atlanta or Lowe’s – they all seem to be shaped the same. The only difference is that the bumps in the track are in different places, but overall they are pretty much alike. Texas is a fast racetrack and I know that my One Eighty guys are working hard to give me the best Toyota out there. We are taking the same truck that we ran so well with at Lowe’s, so I’m really looking forward to this weekend and hopefully getting our first top-five finish of the season.”
