Terrace beats Kamiak, 49-42

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE – A balanced offense and solid defense lifted the Mountlake Terrace boys basketball team to a 49-42 victory over Kamiak in a Wesco South contest Thursday.

“It was a balanced effort,” Hawks coach Nalin Sood said. “(Kamiak and Mountlake Terrace are) teams that hang their hats on defense … we came out on top this time.”

John Allen’s 11 points led the Hawks, who had four other players finish within two points of double-digits. Ben Iddins had a game-high 16 points for Kamiak.

Master’s Touch 47, North Sound Christian 42: At Mountlake Terrace, after scoring only six points in the entire third quarter, Master’s Touch came out firing in the fourth, outscoring North Sound Christian 22-11 to come back and win the Northwest 1B game. Jon Enge led the Lions with 20 points, 14 of which came in the final quarter, and Nick Van Dam added 15 points and nine rebounds.
