Technically, the high school track and field season ended last week. But there are still opportunities to watch some of the area’s best athletes.
Two high-profile events are this weekend, and they include not just some of the area’s best but also top-notch competition from throughout Washington and Oregon.
The Washington State Combined Events Championships are today and tomorrow at Lake Stevens High School. (Here is the Web site: www.wastatedecahept.com.)
And the annual Washington/Oregon Brooks Meet of Champions is tomorrow at King’s High School in Seattle. ( Web site: http://www.wstfca.com/brooksmoc3.htm.)
Both Web pages provide tons of extra info about this year’s meets and results from past competitions.
