The Herald’s College Athlete of the Week: Stanwood High School alum Rachele Kloke

Rachele Kloke was one of the better all-around high school athletes I have ever watched.

A Stanwood High School graduate, Kloke excelled in basketball and track and field, and she also participated in cross country and golf.

Now Kloke plays basketball for the University of Idaho. Our own Scott M. Johnson checked in with Kloke, who is The Herald’s College Athlete of the Week.

Kloke talks about her role as Idaho’s leading scorer, her favorite team road trip (it’s Hawaii — big shock, right?) and her desire to one day go back to Stanwood and compete with others Spartans track and field team alumni.
