EVERETT — Andy Thomas hit the deciding two-run home run in the bottom of seventh inning and the Everett AquaSox topped the Hillsboro Hops 7-5 on Friday for their third straight win.
Justin Lavey hit an RBI double and Victor Labrada worked a bases-loaded walk during a four-run second inning for the AquaSox (14-21).
Thomas and Cole Barr each went 3-for-4 and Lavey had two hits. Barr added an RBI.
Brayan Perez (2-1) allowed two runs, one earned, over four innings of relief to earn the win. He struck out two and gave up one hit and three walks.
Jose Cupra homered and had two RBI for the Hops (18-17).
Liu Fuenmayor (1-1) took the loss after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk in one inning.
