MIAMI — Heat star Dwyane Wade has spasms in his upper back, limiting him in practice.
The reigning NBA scoring champion and the league’s fifth-leading scorer this year said he felt the spasm Saturday morning.
He had treatment and was on the floor with teammates. He did not indicate that the problem was anything other than minor.
Wade has also been bothered by a sore right wrist for about a week. He is expected to play Sunday when Miami hosts Portland.
