Here are some of the standout performers from Thursday night’s boys high school basketball action.
— Khyree Armstead, Mountlake Terrace. Armstead, a 6-foot-3 sophomore, made a layup with four seconds remaining to put the Hawks up for good in a back-and-forth 74-72 Wesco 3A South victory over Edmonds-Woodway. Armstead finished with 10 points in the game.
— Malcolm Rosier-Butler, Shorecrest. The 6-1 junior guard scored 22 points to lead Shorecrest to a 66-60 over rival Shorewood.
— Corey Kispert and Sam Echelbarger, King’s. Kispert, a 6-6 junior, and Echelbarger, a 6-5 senior, scored 16 points apiece to help the Knights hold off South Whidbey 60-54 in a Cascade Conference game.
— Brandon Tetrault, Glacier Peak. The 6-2 senior netted a game-high 19 points to lead the Grizzlies to a 60-49 Wesco 3A South victory over Meadowdale.
