For tomorrow’s paper I’m writing about how well Everett has performed in the third period thus far this season. Just how good have the Tips been? Through eight games Everett has outscored its opponents 16-3 in the third. That number in its own right is impressive. What makes it even more amazing is Everett was an awful third-period team last season, getting outscored 100-65 in the third and 7-0 in overtime. Check out tomorrow’s paper to find out just why the Tips think things have turned so drastically.
