The WHL announced its Western Conference all-stars and award nominees this morning, with several members of the Silvertips organization being recognized.
Everett had two players named second-team Western Conference all-stars as winger Shane Harper and defenseman Radko Gudas were both selected. Harper had 42 goals and 38 assists in 72 games this season, Gudas had seven goals and 30 assists in 65 games.
The Tips also had three individuals nominated for league awards. First-year coach Craig Hartsburg was the Western Conference’s nominee for Coach of the Year, center Zack Dailey was nominated for Humanitarian of the Year and director of business operations Zoran Rajcic was nominated for the Marketing/Public Relations Award.
