Root Sports has announced its U.S. Division broadcast schedule for the 2011-12 season. Root will begin broadcasting Friday night games after the turn of the new year. Everett’s on the schedule three times. Here’s the full schedule:
Jan. 6, Seattle at Tri-City, 7 p.m.
Jan. 13, Tri-City at Vancouver, 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 20, Spokane at Tri-City, 7 p.m.
Jan. 27, Tri-City at Red Deer, 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 3, Everett at Portland, 7 p.m.
Feb. 10, Everett at Vancouver, 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 17, Tri-City at Seattle, 7:30 p.m.
Feb. 24, Spokane at Portland, 7 p.m.
Mar. 2, Seattle at Everett, 7:30 p.m.
Mar. 16, Seattle at Spokane, 7 p.m.
That Mar. 2 game at Comcast Arena against Seattle looks enticing. Could be a big crowd for that one, which would make for a great atmosphere for the broadcast. Ian Furness and Kevin Sawyer will be the broadcast team again this season, at least on the games that aren’t lifted from the Shaw broadcast in Canada.
